After lots of planning and some anxious moments packing and repacking, our latest adventure is upon us. It started on Wednesday, Jan 17th at 4am when Theressa and Terry left the house for the airport. After a quick trip to Winnipeg, where Carole joins in, the trip continues with stops in Montreal, Brussels and Venice. We then board a train to Pontebba, which is several hours north of Venice (close to the Austrian border). The total travel time will be somewhere in the neighborhood of 29-30 hours. The blessing is that we get a good nights sleep and a day of being tourists in Pontebba before we start sculpting Saturday morning.
We really hope that all the luggage, especially the tools, arrive on the same flight in Venice.
