Like the title says, we are in Prince Albert. Theressa and Terry have been joined by Kim for this carve, which means that all 4 team members have worked somewhat together over the last two weekends.
The snow is very soft and does have some debris in it. When we drove up, we saw 3 blocks that were absolutely horrible, however, due to picking our own block we were able to get what we hope is a good one. Theressa and Terry started carving at 1:00pm and Kim joined us after supper.

Theressa Wright is pushing snow and is NOT on the block. This is something of a rarity on the first day of a carve. Click for full size.
We were pushing hard because we wanted to get it roughed out today due to the expected warm weather on Saturday.

Is is some sort of alien? A giant bug? No, it’s the beginnings of Fish Goggles. Click for full size.
There is alot of support from the community. Since we are along a busy street there were plenty of honks of appreciation (we hope) from the passing vehicles. Also, many people were walking by the block (and through the working zone which we aren’t accustomed to) and were very interested in what we were doing.
