Wind Chill — not just a weather condition

We can’t stall forever. Theressa has been working on the design and our neighbor Ellan loves the thought, which is good because the sculpture will be partly in her yard. So, it is time to start building a second block. Of course, we HAD to wait until the coldest night of the year so far to begin. The sculpture is aptly named WIND CHILL. It’s now up to you to see if you can figure out what we are sculpting.

Explain to me why we do this when it is this cold!!!

We have staked out the sightlines for the sculpture -- optimal photo positioning!! Click on the photo for a larger version.

Moving snow closer to the forms

What does a big block of snow need -- lots of snow. We are emptying two yards to get enough snow for this block. Click on photo for larger photo.
