It’s day 2 of packing the block and it feels a lot warmer than it did last night. Perhaps it’s the fact that there is no wind.

After almost filling the block, we had a minor velcro problem that resulted in a seem letting go. After reinforcing the tarp with some straps we called it a night. The next step will be to add the second tarp and begin filling it. Currently, we have about 5 feet of packed snow and we are hoping for at least three more.
