Home 2013 January Terry gets into the action

Terry gets into the action

Terry finally started working on the sculpture, other than help pack the forms initially. He spend some time cutting out block from the back side.

Moving block

Terry is carefully moving a block that was cut out of the back. It will be used to carve a feature for another part of the sculpture. Click photo for full-size.

Terry in block

After cutting out blocks from the back of the sculpture, Terry is able to demonstrate how big the sculpture will be. Click photo for full-size.

We had a visitor this evening who was amazed at what we were doing. He had several questions on how we made the block, how we sculpted it … and what it was? He watched us work for about 15 minutes before leaving.

Theressa shaping

Theressa is using a large chisel to shape the face of Wind Chill. Click photo for full-size.
