They say FOG, we say SMOG
After a couple of stops, including a rickshaw ride in Old Beijing and a stop at a Pearl Factory, we made it out the Bird’s Nest. The site of the Opening Ceremonies of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games was impressive if not, unphotogenic. Small business “vendors” were very prominent here as well.

Our next stop was the Beijing Zoo, where we were hoping to see some Giant Pandas. You know how it is, you go somewhere and you have to try the local cuisine and visit the usual sites.
