Home 2013 January Introducing Suspended Beauty

Introducing Suspended Beauty

As promised, we added a special feature to the sculpture last night. Also, the sculpture has a name “Suspended Beauty”.

Suspended Beauty

Suspended Beauty - A night shot with lights. Normally, we can't use lights on the snow sculpture, but since this was at home ... we played.

We’d like to say a few words about all the people who have stopped to take a look at the sculpture as we worked on it, and then after we finished it. They honked their horns and waved, pulled over and looked, and in many cases they took pictures. In fact, many times they asked if they could take a photo.

There are a couple of people … and I won’t name them … who I’d like to give an extra nod to. From the folks who submitted a picture to the Weather Network to the couple who dropped off chocolates and thanked us for giving the neighborhood something nice … THANK YOU!

From the cab driver who drives out of his way to see the progress to the neighbor who is genuinely excited each time she talks to us … THANK YOU!

People are following the progress on Facebook and making comments. That is wonderful.

Keep coming back as we may have a surprise in the next couple of weeks … but we aren’t saying what.
