Pathways — The Final Shots

One of the most common things that we heard all weekend was “this is Canada” or “that’s the maple leaf”. It seemed that young and old instantly recognized the Maple Leaf that was the backdrop of our sculpture. We very very happy with how the Maple Leaf turned out.

Even though the weather played havoc with the blocks this weekend, we very extremely pleased with the end result. The ice chunks that seemed to permeate the block prevented us from putting in the level of detail that we wanted. That said, the public knew what we sculpting. I should mention that more than one person confused the extra paddle in the canoe with a dinosaur bone.
