It’s all in the details

Every snow sculpture has a couple of things in common. The are made of snow, they are usually quite large and they have some detail work that makes them standout.

Details

Theressa makes use of any tool that she can find. In this case it is a fine paint brush that she uses to brush the snow away from the eyes.

Theressa is up close working on the eyes of this sculpture

You know Theressa means business when the gloves come off.

The gloves are off, the monkey is keeping watch and Theressa is doing some fine detail work.

Theressa spent about 3 hours working on the face of the sculpture today. The sun was shining and the weather had improved.

The face is complete. We now have some finishing work on the rest of the sculpture.
