After getting things organized we managed to become tourists for the day.
Not too far from our hotel, the Friendship Palace Hotel, we found a pedestrian street. Besides all the stores, there were a number of things that made this place interesting. The street was completely cobblestone and was put down almost a 100 years ago.
The second thing that was interesting were the ice and snow sculptures that decorated the middle of the street. Here’s just one example of them.
