Day 2 starts with a feeling of being hit with a cement truck. All three of us are feeling pain and stiffness in at least two parts of our body. We are about to head down to the block for what amounts to be 24 hours of trying to carve cement. It is our hope that we find more evidence of soft snow underneath the hard shell.
The weather report suggests a drop in the wind, but colder temperature. It is sunny and clear right now as we gear up for our day. Theressa is wearing the really warm stuff today…I think I’ll wait til later to add extra layers.
