Home 2012 February A Long Day’s Night

A Long Day’s Night

Our day started off great. The weather was supposed to cooperate. That means no sun and cooler temperatures.

Our neighbor from the Netherlands let Terry use his Snow Frog, a device that makes perfect spheres.

The rest of the afternoon didn’t go quite so smoothly as we found out that someone forgot to pack two drill bits that Theressa was going to use. Can you guess who didn’t pack ALL the tools?

We decided to stay after supper and work until we had two major things accomplished. We ended up working three hours longer than anybody else, but we did get the Rabbitroo’s head in place (with his ears and horns of course) and we got the closet almost finished.

A great ending to a very long day — the Rabbitroo has a head.

We showed the site early on Day 1, here it is at 3am on Day 2

But wait … don’t go. you have to hear what happened after we got back to the hotel. There were two fire alarms within 10 minutes at about 3:55am. Gee thanks…now the 4 hour sleep we were going to get is down to 3 hours as we have to be back at the site by at least 8:30 to give us time to finish (by 12:00pm).
