Yorkton 2021 — Huggable

We received lots of positive exposure from Hug, which we did in our front yard. One of those positive impressions came from Lisa Washington who is with the Yorkton Parks & Recreation in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. As a result, we are in Yorkton ready to start a sculpture on Tuesday morning.

We are extremely fortunate to have missed carving in the bitter cold, like our friends in Winnipeg, Edmonton, and Minnesota. Below is the expected forecast for startup in the morning.

It’s going to be a cold start

Lisa mentioned that with everything going on around the world, everybody needs a hug. She was excited to see HUG and was hoping we could come down and give the people of Yorkton and area their own hug.

Introducing “Huggable”.

We are just about to head out to start roughing out the sculpture. Thanks to the City of Yorkton for building the block, fixing the power at the site, and for supplying ladders and shovels. We have 2 days to finish the 8ft x 8ft x 8ft sculpture.
